U.S. SEC Delays Decision on Solana and Litecoin Spot ETFs

Continued Delays

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has postponed its decision on the spot ETFs for Solana (SOL) and Litecoin, submitted by Grayscale. The authority stated that a detailed review was necessary, thereby deferring its conclusion once again.

Simultaneously, the SEC has also put on hold its decision regarding the adoption of the 'physical redemption and creation' method in BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF, initiating formal procedures for public commentary.

The SEC explained that 'additional scrutiny from a legal and policy perspective is necessary,' indicating that it is not yet at a stage to approve or reject these proposals.

Furthermore, the SEC has also opened up for public comments on the Dogecoin spot ETF proposed by 21Shares, starting from the same day.
