Janover Buys Solana in Bulk, Achieving Over 1 Billion Yen in Unrealized Gains

Bulk Purchase of SOL

DeFi Development Corp., formerly known as Janover and listed on Nasdaq, announced on May 12, 2025, that it purchased 172,670 SOL Solana tokens at an average price of $136.81. The total value of this transaction was approximately 3.5 billion yen.

With this acquisition, the company has increased its total SOL holdings to 595,988 tokens, bringing the total market value to about 15.8 billion yen. This includes rewards from staking.

The timing of the purchase was strategically planned during a price adjustment period for SOL. Currently, SOL is trading at around $180, resulting in an estimated unrealized gain of 1.1 billion yen.
