Wisconsin Sells Over ¥46 Billion in Bitcoin ETFs, Hong Kong Firm Increases Holdings

Still Holding Coinbase Shares

As of the end of March, the State of Wisconsin Investment Board had fully divested its holdings in BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF (IBIT), valued at over ¥46 billion, as revealed in a 13F filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in May. The state has not completely abandoned cryptocurrency-related investments, as it still held approximately $19 million in Coinbase shares at the end of the first quarter.
