Saylor's Strategy Corporation Buys an Additional ¥110 Billion Worth of Bitcoin

On the evening of May 19, Strategy Corporation (formerly MicroStrategy) reported that it invested a total of ¥110 billion between May 12 and May 18, 2025, to purchase 7,390 BTC. This acquisition increases the company's total Bitcoin holdings to 576,230 BTC, valued at approximately ¥8.8 trillion. The purchase was made at an average price of $103,498 per Bitcoin, bringing the company's average acquisition cost to $69,726 per unit, with total expenditures amounting to approximately ¥5.8 trillion. Strategy has been steadily increasing its Bitcoin holdings since 2020, and this trend has continued over the past year.
