SEC Delays Decision on Solana Spot ETFs Involving 21Shares and Bitwise

Continued Delays

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced on the 19th that it has postponed the decision deadlines for two Solana (SOL) spot Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) applications, seeking public comments. The applications in question are the 21Shares Core Solana ETF and the Bitwise Solana ETF, for which the SEC has initiated proceedings.

The SEC stated that 'the initiation of proceedings does not indicate that the Commission has reached any conclusions regarding the pending applications,' and 'is seeking input from interested parties.'
