BTCS Inc. Acquires Additional Ethereum Worth $12 Million, Boosting Holdings by 38%

On May 20, BTCS Inc., a cryptocurrency-related company listed on NASDAQ, announced the acquisition of 3,450 Ethereum (ETH) for approximately $8.42 million (1.2 billion yen). The average purchase price was $2,441 per ETH, funded by the proceeds from a convertible bond issue worth up to $57.8 million, finalized on May 14. As of May 16, BTCS's ETH holdings reached approximately 12,500 ETH, marking an increase of about 38% from 9,063 ETH at the end of the first quarter of 2025. The company's total market value of cryptocurrency holdings and cash has reached about $38.42 million, recording a significant 88% increase since the start of the second quarter (April to June).
