Volatility Shares' XRP Futures ETF Begins Trading on Nasdaq

On May 22, ETF management company VolatilityShares launched an XRP futures exchange-traded fund (ETF) named 'XRPI', which began trading on Nasdaq with the ticker symbol XRPI, marking it as the first 1x futures fund linked to XRP.

This ETF is operated as a part of the VolatilityShares Trust and received listing approval based on an amended filing submitted to the SEC on May 21. It indirectly invests in XRP futures through a wholly-owned subsidiary in the Cayman Islands, allocating over 80% of its net assets to XRP-related products.

The company is also planning to list a 2x leveraged XRP futures ETF, aiming to capture twice the price movement of XRP. Meanwhile, ...
