U.S. SEC Accepts ETF Application with Staking Rewards, Increasing Likelihood of Approval

Clarifying the SEC's Perspective

Cryptocurrency fund managers REX Shares and Osprey Funds submitted an application to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on the 30th for an ETF that includes staking functions for Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL).

The proposed ETF would allocate a minimum of 50% of its assets to staking, offering additional rewards to investors. It is currently unclear which management companies or staking services will be utilized, but the product is drawing attention for its unique revenue structure, differing from traditional ETFs.
