Cetus on Sui to Transfer Frozen Assets of Attacker

On the 30th, Cetus, a decentralized exchange (DEX) on the Sui blockchain, announced that a proposal to execute a special transaction to transfer the frozen portion of cryptocurrencies stolen by an attacker was approved in a governance vote. The voting period, which started on the 27th, was set for a maximum of seven days but met the approval criteria early, thus finalizing the results. Cetus explained that following this, an upgrade to the Sui protocol will be implemented to first move the stolen assets from the attacker's address to Cetus's multisignature address, and subsequently return them to the original holders.
