On the 4th, Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party of Korea was inaugurated as the new President. During his election campaign, he had advocated for proactive policies on stablecoins and cryptocurrencies. Initially, Lee expressed his desire to introduce stablecoins pegged to the South Korean Won.
