Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase announced on the 5th that it has launched tokens 'cbXRP' and 'cbDOGE', which are wrapped versions of XRP and Dogecoin (DOGE), respectively, on Base.

Wrapping refers to the issuance of alternative tokens that enable a specific cryptocurrency to be utilized on another blockchain. This launch enhances the interoperability and practicality of XRP and Dogecoin.
