Deutsche Bank Considers Issuing Its Own Stablecoin and Tokenized Deposits, Reports Say

Deutsche Bank, a leading financial institution in Europe, is considering issuing its own stablecoin and various forms of tokenized deposits, according to a report by Bloomberg on the 6th. Savi Bezad, the head of Digital Assets and Currency Transformation at Deutsche Bank, stated, 'Particularly in the United States, the momentum for stablecoins is evident, supported by a favorable regulatory environment.' The bank has a range of options for entering the stablecoin market, from activities as a reserve manager to issuing its own stablecoin, either independently or through a consortium.
