Estimates Considered 'Conservative'

On the 8th, Paolo Ardoino, CEO of leading stablecoin issuer Tether, announced an estimate that the company's market capitalization could reach $515 billion (approximately 75 trillion yen) if it were to go public. This valuation would place it 19th in the global corporate rankings, surpassing retail giant Costco and beverage manufacturer Coca-Cola. Ardoino also denied any plans for an IPO. His remarks are seen as a response to the successful initial public offering (IPO) of competitor Circle, which went public on the 5th of last week. Circle's shares soared from an offering price of $31 to a closing price of over $103.75 on the first day, starting off with a market cap around $30 billion...
