Stablecoins Make Significant Strides

On the 10th, leading U.S. cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase released its latest report on the cryptocurrency market, pointing out an increase in companies adopting blockchain and cryptocurrencies. The report particularly highlights the significant strides made by stablecoins. According to Allium, the number of global stablecoin holders has exceeded 161 million, with the supply of stablecoins increasing by 54% year-over-year. CEX.IO projects that by 2024, the annual total remittance volume of stablecoins will reach $27.6 trillion, approximately 4,000 trillion yen, surpassing the combined remittance volume of major credit card companies Visa and Mastercard by 7.68% in the same year.
