Circle's Stock Rises 10% as Sam Altman's World Begins Issuing USDC

Stock Prices Rise Again

Circle, a major stablecoin issuer, announced on the 11th that it has started issuing USDC in OpenAI CEO Sam Altman's cryptocurrency project 'World'. Circle had just listed on the New York Stock Exchange last week, and following this news and the progress of a stablecoin bill in the Senate, its stock price surged an additional 10% on the 12th. World revealed in a statement that approximately 2 million users already held a bridged version of USDC within the World app. With this move, Circle directly upgrades to a native USDC, reaching over 27 million users in more than 160 countries...
