Shift in Bitcoin Market Structure

On November 11, major cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, in collaboration with on-chain analytics firm Glassnode, released a report highlighting that the establishment of the U.S. Strategic Bitcoin Reserves (SBR) marks a pivotal turning point in Bitcoin's evolution as an institutional asset. In March 2025, under a presidential order, the Trump administration solidified plans to establish the SBR, officially holding Bitcoin as a national reserve asset. The introduction of the SBR by the U.S. government has radically altered perceptions of Bitcoin (BTC), elevating institutional investors' confidence in Bitcoin to new heights.
