Mexican Billionaire Predicts Bitcoin Price to Rise At Least Eightfold

Continuing Bitcoin Purchases

Ricardo Salinas Pliego, a billionaire and the third richest person in Mexico, expressed in an interview with 'Kitco News' that Bitcoin (BTC) will soon 'increase in value' beyond that of gold.

During the interview, he noted that Bitcoin's market capitalization was around $2 trillion, compared to gold's market capitalization of about $16 trillion (currently about $23 trillion). He estimated that if Bitcoin reaches the same level of storage capability and value preservation as gold, its price would rise by at least eight times, and he expects this to occur very soon.
