Asset Management One to Launch Mutual Fund Investing in Global Cryptocurrency Companies

Japanese asset management firm Asset Management One (hereafter referred to as AssetMan One) is set to launch a mutual fund that targets stocks of global cryptocurrency-related companies, as reported by the Nikkei on the 26th. The launch could be as early as July. In collaboration with Voya Investment Management, the fund will invest in stocks of 30 to 60 companies, including operators of cryptocurrency exchanges. This initiative is seen as the first major investment trust specializing in cryptocurrency-related companies.
