Potential Doubling of BTC Market Cap

Billionaire hedge fund manager Philip Lafon has identified cryptocurrency Bitcoin (BTC) as one of the top investment opportunities over the next five years, listing it in his 'Fantastic 40' roster. This was revealed in an interview broadcasted by CNBC on the 25th.

Bitcoin, as a novel asset class, currently has a market capitalization of $2 trillion (approximately 290 trillion yen), but Lafon believes it has the potential to reach between $4 trillion to $5 trillion (approximately 580 to 720 trillion yen).

He explained that Bitcoin's current market cap of $2 trillion accounts for about 0.5% of the world's total net assets, suggesting a long-term potential for doubling...
