Tokenization of U.S. Stocks and ETFs

Robinhood, a provider of investment apps for cryptocurrencies and stocks, announced on June 30th that it has launched a service for trading 'Stock Tokens', which are tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs, specifically for users in the European Union (EU). The company also unveiled new cryptocurrency-related products and services, explaining that these innovations simplify and enhance investing, and help build a future where the world can invest more easily. On the day of the announcement, Robinhood's stock price surged over 12%, reaching a new high. The details of this launch were also shared at an event in France and on the official website, along with a series of other products and services.
