U.S. SEC Approves Grayscale's Cryptocurrency Fund ETF Featuring Bitcoin and XRP Investments

A Precursor to Other Cryptocurrency ETFs

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved the ETF conversion of Grayscale's 'Digital Large Cap Fund' managed basket-type cryptocurrency investment trust on the 1st. The application was made through NYSE Arca, and the approval was expedited.

Previously, the fund was traded over-the-counter (OTC) and targeted at accredited investors. The portfolio is primarily composed of Bitcoin (BTC), which constitutes about 80%, followed by Ethereum (ETH) at 11%.

Additionally, it includes other major cryptocurrencies such as XRP, Solana (SOL), and Cardano (ADA), making for a diverse composition of leading digital assets...
