The Relationship Between the Dollar Index and Risk Assets

An analysis released by cryptocurrency analytics firm Cryptoquant on the 2nd indicates that the US Dollar Index (DXY) has recorded its lowest level since 2022. This is seen as a signal of declining confidence in the dollar, with notable impacts on Bitcoin (BTC), gold, and the S&P 500.

The S&P 500 updated its all-time high again on the 2nd, trading at 6212 dollars. It has recovered from a sharp drop due to macroeconomic uncertainties in April 2025, confirming a shift in capital from the dollar to risk assets such as stocks.

Gold has shown strong gains since the beginning of the year, but has moved within a narrow range over the past two months...
