U.S. House Designates Week of July 14 as 'Cryptocurrency Week', to Discuss Three Key Bills

Designated as 'Cryptocurrency Week'

The leadership of the U.S. House of Representatives announced on July 3rd that the week of July 14th to 20th will be designated as 'Cryptocurrency Week', during which three major bills will be discussed: the GENIUS Act, the CLARITY Act, and the Anti-CBDC Surveillance National Act. These bills are part of Congress's efforts to position the United States as a global hub for cryptocurrencies.

Chairman French Hill of the House Financial Services Committee stated, 'We are advancing groundbreaking legislation that establishes a clear regulatory framework for digital assets, protecting consumers and investors alike.' House Speaker Mike Johnson also praised the move as a decisive step towards fully realizing President Trump's policies on digital assets and cryptocurrencies.
