Mercado Bitcoin Plans to Tokenize Assets Worth 30 Billion Yen on XRP Ledger

Mercado Bitcoin, Latin America's leading cryptocurrency exchange (hereafter MB), announced on July 4th plans to tokenize over $200 million (approximately 30 billion yen) of permissioned real-world assets (RWA) on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). The assets targeted for tokenization include bonds and equity income products. This initiative is expected to be one of the largest tokenization projects on XRPL by a South American institution.
