Russian State-Owned Rostec to Issue Tron-based Stablecoin RUBx, Possibly to Circumvent Sanctions

Launching the Stablecoin 'RUBx'

On the 3rd, Russian state-owned enterprise Rostec announced plans to issue the ruble-backed stablecoin RUBx token on the Tron (TRX) blockchain by the end of this year. RUBx will be backed one-to-one by ruble-denominated debt. The code will be hosted on the GitHub platform, with verification also planned by the independent company CertiK. Additionally, there are plans to launch the payment platform 'RT-Pay'. This platform will fully comply with the regulatory framework of the Russian Central Bank, including anti-money laundering protocols and other regulations.
