The Rise of Bitcoin Treasury Strategies

Investment strategist Lyn Alden has discussed the reasons behind the growing interest in Bitcoin (BTC) treasury strategies in her report titled 'The Rise of Bitcoin Stocks and Bonds'.

The Bitcoin treasury strategy, which involves adopting Bitcoin as a corporate financial asset, was first introduced by the U.S. company Strategy Corp (formerly MicroStrategy) in 2020. Following revisions in Bitcoin accounting treatments by the U.S. Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) in 2023 and market fluctuations, adoption by companies is expected to accelerate from 2024 to 2025.
