Truth Social Files for 'Cryptocurrency Blue-Chip ETF' with the SEC, CRO Token Price Surges

On the 8th, Truth Social, under Trump Media Technology Group, submitted an S-1 registration statement to the SEC for the establishment of a 'Cryptocurrency Blue-Chip ETF'. The ETF is planned to be comprised of five major cryptocurrency assets. According to the preliminary prospectus, the ETF's asset allocation is intended to be 70% Bitcoin, 15% Ethereum, 8% Solana, 2% XRP, and 5% Cronos. Cronos (CRO) is the native cryptocurrency of the blockchain closely associated with the Crypto.com ecosystem. Following the announcement of this filing, the price of CRO has surged by over 20%.
