On July 9, the on-chain analysis platform Arkham announced that a major Bitcoin investor had transferred 6000 BTC (approximately 95.7 billion yen) to a new wallet. This investor, who began their Bitcoin journey with funds received from Zap Bank in 2019, currently holds over $2.5 billion (more than 366 billion yen) worth of Bitcoin (BTC). The transfer was executed on the night of July 8, moving funds from an address starting with 1J3B2 to a new address beginning with bc1qu. According to Arkham's AI analysis, this investor has been identified as a billionaire-level whale, having accrued $2.3 billion in unrealized gains since 2019.
