Gates Announces a ¥11 Billion Real Estate Tokenization on Oasys

On July 10th, Japanese real estate investment firm Gates announced a strategic partnership with Oasys. The plan involves tokenizing prime real estate assets in central Tokyo, valued at ¥11 billion, on the Oasys blockchain, setting the stage for one of Japan's largest real estate tokenization projects. Traditional real estate investments have been challenging for foreign investors due to complex legal requirements, language barriers, and high legal fees. This tokenization initiative will enable global investors to easily purchase ownership rights through decentralized exchanges.
