Cardano Foundation Reports: 15% of Assets Held in Bitcoin by End of 2024

Cardano Foundation's Financial Report

On the 10th, the Cardano Foundation published its annual financial report for 2024.

As of the end of the year, the Foundation's assets were reported to be approximately $660 million (about 96.3 billion yen). The asset composition included 76.7% in the cryptocurrency ADA, 14.9% in Bitcoin (BTC), and 8.3% in cash, cash equivalents, and financial assets.

This report was published using the Cardano Foundation's financial reporting tool 'Reeve' and was disclosed on-chain. By releasing the report, the Foundation aims to detail its fund allocation and clarify the specific impacts of its focus areas, thereby enhancing transparency, integrity, and community engagement.
