According to CNBC, during the earnings call on the 15th, Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase, expressed that while he does not see the appeal of stablecoins, entering the business is inevitable. As the largest bank in the U.S., handling nearly $10 trillion in transactions daily, the bank is intensifying its involvement in the cryptocurrency sector in response to regulatory and market changes. Last month, JPMorgan announced the pilot launch of the 'JPMD Token,' a stablecoin-like asset available exclusively to its clients. Dimon stated, 'I intend to engage with and master both JPMorgan Deposit Coins and stablecoins as areas of expertise,' highlighting the bank's proactive approach in the fintech arena.
