Beauty Company Convano Decides to Purchase ¥400 Million in Bitcoin

Details of the Bitcoin Purchase Plan

Convano Co., Ltd., known for its beauty and nail services such as 'FAST NAIL', announced on July 17th that its board of directors has resolved to purchase ¥400 million worth of Bitcoin. The company is initiating a cryptocurrency holding business with the aim of strengthening its financial base and hedging against inflation.

The purchase is scheduled to be completed by the end of July 2025. A specialized department, the 'Bitcoin Holding Strategy Room', has been established for this purpose, with board member Hirotaka Higashi appointed as the head.

Convano plans to use the funds raised from the issuance and exercise of the fourth series of stock acquisition rights to purchase ¥400 million worth of Bitcoin. Currently, the issuance price of these rights amounts to 2,660...
