Bitcoin Could Reach $140,000 by Year-End, But Summer Adjustment Risks Loom, Says 10x Research

On July 22, cryptocurrency research firm 10x Research released a report titled 'The Next Five Months Outlook Based on $195 Billion in Bitcoin Capital Inflows,' highlighting the strongest breakout for Bitcoin since 2024. Despite this, the report warns of potential price adjustments due to an overheated options market and the typical summer slowdown in trading volumes, known as the summer doldrums.

According to the report, the year-end Bitcoin price is projected at $141,861. To achieve this target, an additional $281 billion in capital inflows is necessary, on top of the $195 billion already seen since the start of the year, with every $72 billion potentially pushing the price up by $10,000.
