Mercari App to Enable Account Opening and Trading on Coincheck, Scheduled for Early 2026

On the 5th, Coincheck, a cryptocurrency trading service operator, and Mercoin, a subsidiary of Mercari, announced the conclusion of a business partnership agreement. By the first half of 2026, it is planned that users will be able to open new accounts with Coincheck and engage in cryptocurrency trading through the Mercari app. This integration, facilitated by Mercoin, will allow Mercari users access to a wider variety of cryptocurrencies. Currently, the Mercari app only handles three cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Ripple (XRP), but there are plans for a significant expansion.
