Galaxy Digital Considers Tokenization of Its GLXY Shares, Offers Insight on Bitcoin Treasury

On May 5, Galaxy Digital, a major U.S. cryptocurrency financial firm, disclosed in documents submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that it is exploring the possibility of tokenizing its listed shares 'GLXY'. The company was listed on NASDAQ in May. Galaxy Digital stated it is 'evaluating the feasibility of tokenizing Class A common shares' and has entered into a digital securities agency agreement with 'Superstate Services', a specialist in tokenized securities. If realized, this would provide investors with a new means of owning and trading GLXY shares using blockchain technology.
