Ripple to Acquire Stablecoin Payment Company Rail

Ripple's Latest Acquisition Move

On the 7th, Ripple announced that it has agreed to acquire 'Rail', a provider of international stablecoin payment platforms.

The acquisition price is set at $200 million (approximately 29.4 billion yen). Both companies will collaborate to offer comprehensive stablecoin payment solutions, as explained.

Rail provides a compliance-aligned platform that bridges fiat currencies with stablecoins and is known for being backed by Galaxy. It offers services to global enterprises, focusing on moving money quickly and cost-effectively.
