Harvard University Holds $1.17 Billion in BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF

Expansion of Ivy League Investments

It has been revealed that Harvard University holds approximately $1.17 billion in BlackRock's physical Bitcoin ETF, 'IBIT'. According to SEC filings, as of June 30, they had newly acquired 1,906,000 shares. This investment has become the fifth largest in Harvard University's investment portfolio, surpassing the $114 million in shares of Alphabet, Google's parent company, and following the largest investment in Microsoft shares, which amounts to $310 million. Brown University, another Ivy League institution, also doubled its holdings from 105,000 shares to 212,500 shares as of March 31. The valuation stands at $13 million...
