On August 12, MetaPlanet Co., Ltd. announced the purchase of an additional 518 BTC as part of its Bitcoin treasury operations. The total purchase amount was 9.086 billion yen, with an average purchase price of 17.54 million yen per BTC.

This acquisition increases the company's cumulative BTC holdings to 18,113 BTC, with a total average purchase price per BTC of 14.92 million yen, and a total acquisition cost of approximately 270.364 billion yen.

MetaPlanet has set forth a '555 Million Plan' aiming to hold 100,000 BTC by the end of 2026 and 210,000 BTC by the end of 2027, utilizing dynamic funding methods (corporate bonds, new stock options, etc.)...
