Coinbase Resumes Stablecoin Fund After Six Years, Aiming to Provide Capital to DeFi Projects Like Aave

On the 12th, Coinbase, a major US cryptocurrency exchange, resumed its Stablecoin Bootstrap Fund after about six years. The program is designed to improve the liquidity of stablecoins within decentralized finance (DeFi). Initially, the fund will provide capital in stablecoins to DeFi platforms including Aave, Morpho, Kamino, and Jupiter. Shan Agarwal, Coinbase's Chief Business Officer, commented on the initiative, stating that it involves injecting capital into on-chain protocols and ensuring sufficient liquidity for their specific uses, such as lending protocols that allow users to borrow.
