Norwegian Sovereign Wealth Fund's Indirect Bitcoin Holdings Increase to 7,161 BTC

Vetle Lunde, head of the research division at 'K33 Research', announced on the 12th that the Norwegian Government Pension Fund Global (NBIM), one of the world's largest sovereign wealth funds, holds an indirect position in the digital asset Bitcoin (BTC), totaling 7,161 BTC as of the end of June 2025.

He pointed out that this represents the largest quantity of indirect exposure to Bitcoin to date, and commented that it serves as an example of how Bitcoin is being increasingly incorporated into well-diversified portfolios, whether intentionally or not.
