Bitmine Acquires Additional ¥18.6 Billion Worth of Ethereum

According to Arkham Data, Bitmine Immersion Technologies, a NASDAQ-listed Ethereum (ETH) treasury company, has received an ETH transfer from Galaxy Digital's OTC address within the last two hours. The transfer was executed in five separate transactions, totaling approximately 28,650 ETH (¥18.6 billion), which was sent to a wallet custodied by BitGo. On December 12, the company announced an expansion of its share issuance limit to $24.5 billion to raise additional funds for purchasing ETH. This marks a significant expansion from the $4.5 billion limit set on July 9, quintupling the amount available for raising funds to purchase Ethereum, as well as Bitcoin and to finance mining operations.
