Ethereum Holdings Reach ¥72 Billion

ETHZilla, a treasury company specializing in the cryptocurrency Ethereum (ETH), announced on the 25th that its board of directors has approved a buyback program for up to $250 million (approximately ¥37 billion) of its issued ordinary shares. Furthermore, as of the 25th, the company holds a total of 102,237 Ethereum, valued at approximately $489 million (about ¥72 billion). The average acquisition cost is about $3,949 (approximately ¥580,000). ETHZilla also holds about $215 million (approximately ¥32 billion) in cash equivalents in U.S. dollars.
