U.S. Department of Commerce Distributes Economic Statistics Data Across Nine Blockchains Using Pyth and Chainlink

On August 28, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced that it had begun publishing economic statistics data on the blockchain, marking a first for federal agencies. The initiative started with the GDP data for July, and includes Q2 statistics such as GDP and PCE, all distributed on the blockchain. The Department has released the official hashes of the GDP data on nine blockchains: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Tron, Stellar, Avalanche (AVAX), Arbitrum One, Polygon PoS, and Optimism.
