Ethereum Treasury Investments Accelerate as Three Listed Companies Acquire and Operate Billions of Dollars in ETH

SharpLink Gaming (SBET), an Ethereum-focused investment firm listed on the NASDAQ, announced on September 2 that it had acquired 39,008 ETH at an average price of $4,531 over the past week. The company's ETH holdings now total 837,230 coins, currently valued at approximately $3.6 billion. The purchase funds were primarily sourced from the net proceeds of $46.6 million from the stock market program for the week ending August 31, with the total purchase amounting to about $170 million. Since initiating its Ethereum-based asset strategy in June, the company has accumulated staking rewards of 2,318 ETH, and reported over $70 million in cash still awaiting deployment.
