Bitcoin Faces Sub-$100,000 Risk Amid September's Historical Weakness and Macro Factors, Warns K33

Vetle Lunde, head of research at cryptocurrency research and brokerage firm K33, analyzed that Bitcoin (BTC) entered September in an unstable state. The resurgence of tariff pressures, the announcement of US economic indicators, and the historically weak performance of the month may awaken the market from the 'comfortable numbness' near its peak prices. New selling pressures could push major cryptocurrencies below the $100,000 mark, as reported by The Block and others. Since 2011, September has been the only month recording an average return of -4.6%. While Mr. Lunde cautions against relying solely on seasonality, he notes that new macro headwinds could reinforce the bearish scenario.
