MetaPlanet Purchases an Additional ¥2.2 Billion Worth of Bitcoin

Total Holdings Reach 20,136 BTC

On September 8, MetaPlanet Co., Ltd. announced the purchase of an additional 136 BTC as part of its Bitcoin treasury operations. The total purchase amount was ¥2.251 billion, with an average purchase price of ¥16.55 million per BTC.

This latest acquisition brings the company's total BTC holdings to 20,136. The cumulative average purchase price per BTC stands at ¥15.12 million, reaching a total acquisition cost of ¥304.563 billion.

MetaPlanet has set forth the '555 Million Plan,' aiming to hold 100,000 BTC by the end of 2026 and 210,000 BTC by the end of 2027. The company plans to finance this through corporate bonds and issuing new shares...
