On September 11, JPYC Corporation announced that repayments using the Japanese yen-denominated stablecoin 'JPYC' will be accepted starting around October 2025 for the credit card 'Nudge (Nudge Card)' provided by Nudge Inc. This marks the first time in Japan that repayments on a credit card can be made using a stablecoin. With this new feature, repayments using JPYC will be possible at over 150 million VISA merchant locations worldwide.
