Nasdaq-listed BitMine Purchases Additional ¥30 Billion Worth of Ethereum

Accelerating Accumulation of Ethereum in Corporate Finance

BitMine, the world's largest holder of Ethereum (ETH), added 46,255 ETH (worth approximately ¥30 billion) to its treasury on Thursday, as reported by the blockchain analytics platform Onchain Lens. The company received ETH through three addresses from a BitGo wallet. Onchain Lens identified the connection to BitMine using algorithms, among other methods. With this additional purchase, BitMine's total holdings have surpassed 2.1 million ETH, equivalent to over ¥1.3 trillion. The company has set a goal to acquire 5% of the total Ethereum supply.
