It has been revealed that the prediction market platform Polymarket is considering a fundraising round with a company valuation ranging between $9 to $10 billion. According to Business Insider, at least one investor has presented a term sheet at a $10 billion valuation. This valuation marks a significant increase from the $1 billion valuation earlier this summer. Polymarket CEO Shane Coplan announced earlier this month that the company had received approval from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to commence operations in the United States.
