Google Supports Stablecoins in New AI Payment Protocol

New Protocol Aiming to Standardize Payments Between AI Agents

On the 16th, Google unveiled a new payment scheme designed to simplify transfers between AI applications. This open-source protocol supports not only traditional credit and debit cards but also stablecoins pegged to the US dollar, as reported by Fortune magazine and others. In adding stablecoin compatibility, Google collaborated with the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase to develop a unique AI and cryptocurrency payment scheme. It also worked with other blockchain enterprises, including the Ethereum Foundation, and consulted with over 60 organizations such as Salesforce, American Express, and Etsy.
